We’re a nondenominational church serving the Long Beach Peninsula and beyond. Our desire is to create an authentic community of believers and see a city transformed through the life-changing message of the Gospel. Everyone is welcome.

What Is the Gospel?

The Gospel is clearly stated in Scripture: Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and He appeared to many witnesses.

Our church is led by pastors, elders, and servants who love Jesus and are committed to shepherding God’s people with humility and care.

God the Father

We believe in God the Father, infinitely perfect and eternally existing, the Creator of all, Who created the entire universe out of nothing by His powerful Word. God the Father so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son Jesus to die on the cross to purchase forgiveness and eternal life for all who believe.

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, the living Word, Son of God, co-equal with the Father, Who came to this earth through miraculous conception, true God and true man united as one Person forever, lived a perfect and holy life, then died substitutionally to pay for the sins of His people, according to the Scriptures. Three days later He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures and ascended to the Father, where He now intercedes for all He died to save and will return to take us to be with Him forever.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Member of the Trinity, whose role it is to draw people to Jesus Christ; He does this by showing them the Gospel, reminding them of everything Jesus said and did, and convicting them of sin, righteousness, and judgment, making Christ precious to all believers. The Holy Spirit comes to live in all who receive Christ by faith, as an earnest or down payment of the fullness of intimacy all believers will have with Christ through eternity, and the Holy Spirit seals all believers forever.

Spiritual Gifts

We believe the Holy Spirit gives gifts to all believers for the purpose of building up the body of Christ. These gifts are to be used in humility, never pointing to ourselves or to the Spirit but always for the glory of God, always pointing to Christ, and always for the benefit of others.

The Scriptures

We believe the Scriptures (the 66 Books of the Old and New Testament) are a unified witness and God’s infallible Word, inerrant in their original languages, self-attesting, and are used by the Spirit of God to make us wise to salvation through their constant portrayal of the good news of Christ crucified, buried and risen and calls for us to repent and believe the good news. The Bible is the final authority on all matters on which it speaks and requires our unreserved submission in all areas of life.

The Gospel & Salvation

We believe the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe, is the primary means the Holy Spirit uses in sanctification and is the primary subject of the Bible. The Gospel is to be preached in the power of the Spirit to reach the hearts of men and women and to transform them into the image of Jesus Christ.

We believe the Gospel is to be heard, believed, received, and confessed by men and women, who then confess their sins to God and receive eternal life as a gift of God’s grace and love. Through believing the Gospel the entire Trinity comes to live in each believer.

From birth, mankind has been estranged from God and condemned by our sinful rebellion; salvation is wholly dependent upon the work of God's free grace. God justifies those who put their faith in Christ alone for their redemption.

The Return of Christ

Jesus Christ will come again to the earth personally and visibly as He promised to judge the living and the dead, to complete history and the eternal plan of God.
